After a night of heavy rain and winds we awoke to a much brighter morning and headed just around the coast to the wonderful Mellon Udrigle Beach before heading for a couple of days on the Isle of Skye – we arrived at our campsite at Sligachan and for the first time managed to tune in the motorhomes TV antennas – a lovely meal at the pub (Seumas’ Bar) – with over 400 malts from all over Scotland it is no wonder it has won ‘Whisky Bar of the year’ for the last 4 years running. The situation of the campsite offers some wonderful views of the Black Cuillin mountains and I must admit I was rather envious watching the walkers arrive in their droves after a hard days in the hills.
