After lunch we headed towards out second stopover; this time at Auchnahillin Holiday Park; a lovely place for an overnight with excellent facilities and we were fortunate that the sun came out – albeit with a breeze. This we would use for our base for visiting the local attractions at Inverness – namely the famous battlefield of Culloden and then onto Fort George – where we were saw the Dolphins swimming in the Moray Firth. We then set off to the West Coast with fantastic views of Loch Broom as we headed to Gruinard Bay where we spent the night with fantastic views straight onto the beach.
