On the journey to Glen Nevis we then drove from Plockton to Eilean Donan Castle – probably one of the most iconic images of Scotland – literally sat on an Island where 3 sea lochs meet.  It has been used as a location  in so many films from Bonnie Prince Charlie, The New Avengers, Highlander and James Bond – The World is Not Enough to name just a few.  A quick lunch in the visitor centres café before a picturesque drive up to the Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park.
