Derbyshire Peak District – January 4th 2015

A gorgeous morning starting with temperatures of -5 degrees centigrade meant we knew we would be in for some spectacular sites. We started in Castleton and then took the route by the river to find the track up to Lose Hill, over Back Tor and onto Mam Tor  (we we enjoyed sandwiches made with our handmade bread and washed downed with homemade Spinach and Watercress soup) before connecting to the Limestone way under Peveril Castle and back into Castleton.
