Four seasons in one day in derbyshire

The supposed walk between Buxton and Leek soon became a thing of history as the the first snow of the year came down and visibility got too poor.  But we got to see some great views, snow clouds on the peaks and rainbows and sunshine across the valleys.  A great lunch in Buxton gave time for the weather to improve and we moved on to Hathersage and had a nice walk scrabbling over the boulders and around the millstones at Surprise View.
